Roy Charles Pawlowski's Obituary
Roy C. Pawlowski, born August 4, 1949 in Harbor Beach, Michigan, was sent to his eternal home on Friday October 24, 2025.
Roy was born to the late Theophilus and Laura Pawlowski. He was married at age 19 to the beautiful Mary Lou Volmering on October 5, 1968 and they raised 2 children, Douglas and Gwen in Michigan. Roy retired early as a very well respected Experimental Sheet Metal Mechanic at Chrysler after a 35 year career. Roy and Mary Lou enjoyed many cruises after retirement. He was Mr fix it, loved ABBA and The Rolling Stones, farming and tractors, tinkering in the garage, ice cream, and ended up being a pretty good golfer later in life after they moved from Michigan to The Villages, FL. Roy was an active member of Carpenters for Christ for many years and also an active member at United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father Phil Pawlowski (1996), mother Laura Pawlowski (2007), and brother Don Pawlowski (2022).
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou, children Douglas Pawlowski of Dewitt, MI, and Gwen (Rick) Hoffeld of Union, KY; step grandchildren Ashton Hoffeld and Chase Hoffeld; Siblings Arnold Pawlowski, Melvin Pawlowski, and Noreen (Ross) Johnson; and so many amazing friends, neighbors and family members.
An inurnment service will take place outside on Saturday November 22, 2025 @ 10:00 am at New Covenant United Methodist Church. 3470 Woodridge Dr. The Villages, FL 32162.
