Roy Mack Jordan's Obituary
Roy Mack Jordan age 75, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at his residence in Leesburg. Roy was born in Blackshear, Georgia and moved to the Leesburg area over 55 years ago. For over 20 years he was in the restaurant industry and Owned and Operated the Red Barn Bar-B-Que with locations in Leesburg and Lake Panasoffkee. Roy was a man who loved to laugh and was blessed with a gift of gab that allowed him to make friends easily. He was known by those close to him as a family man whose kind and caring heart was out for all to see. He was happiest when he had a fishing pole in his hand or he was spending time in the outdoors working in his garden and yard, but most of all he loved spending quality time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years – Shirley and 5 Sons – Earl “Rooster” (Debbie) Allen of Lady Lake, FL; Ricky (Donna) Jordan of Eustis, FL; Robert (Marsha) Allen of Leesburg, FL; Tony Jordan of Blackshear, GA; and David (Marla) Jordan of Leesburg; 3 Daughters – Shirley Eads of Leesburg, FL; Glenda Harris of Leesburg, FL; and Tina (Jimmy) Combee of Sorrento, FL; 13 Brothers and Sisters and 25 Grandchildren and 53 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.
A Funeral Service celebrating his life is planned for 10 A. M. Wednesday at the Page-Theus Funeral Home in Downtown Leesburg, Florida. The family will receive friends from
6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
