Ronald Carlton Trump's Obituary
Ronald Carlton Trump passed away on Thursday July 8, 2010 at the age of 76. He was born on August 28, 1933 in Nocatee, FL to the late John and Thelma Trump. Ronald was a 1951 graduate of Miami High, served his country in the U.S. Navy, and returned to graduate, in 1960, from University of Florida with an Electrical Engineering degree. He retired from Honeywell Aero Space in Clearwater, FL as a staff Engineer. Ronald also found time to serve as a Certified Lay Speaker and member of the Webster United Methodist Church, volunteered as a Chaplain at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, and also volunteered at People Helpers with First Baptist Church, Leesburg, FL. In his spare time Ronald enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, farming, and inventing helpful gadgets. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judith Ann (Calkins) Trump, one son Ronald Jr., two daughters; Betty T. Weiss of Leesburg, FL., and Jennie I. Fillmon-Walleker (Vale Tim) of Webster, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Harvey J. Trump. A memorial service will be held at the Webster United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles Rothy officiating. A private internment service was held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family has suggested memorials in Ronald’s honor may be directed toward the Webster United Methodist Church Building Fund, or People Helpers at First Baptist Church of Leesburg, FL.
