Robert James "Bob" Veado's Obituary
Robert James “Bob” Veado, age 76, passed away early Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in Leesburg, Florida. Bob was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania and moved to the Summerfield and Leesburg area in 1998 from Tallahassee. He was a Marine with a deep love for the United States Marine Corps. He served as a Supply and Administration Manager for the USMC and retired at the rank of Master Sergeant after 30 years of service. Those closest to him describe him as a great dad to his daughters and a loving husband to his wife, Theresa, of 55 years. His attributes are described as straightforward, strong, honorable, truthful, caring and loving. He was a family man who loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He really enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
His survivors include his loving wife – Theresa; daughters – Robin J. (Stephen) Hull of Woodbridge, Virginia and Marjorie J. (Joseph) Meister of O’Fallon, Missouri and four grandchildren: Rebecca, David, Victoria, and Ian.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 23, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Page-Theus Funeral Home, on 914 West Main Street, downtown Leesburg. A service celebrating Bob’s life is planned the following day at 11:00 AM at the Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel in Leesburg, Florida.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to: The USMC Toys for Tots Foundation: Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172.
