Robert Charles Kee's Obituary
Robert Charles Kee age 90 a former executive with Bell PA, Bell South and AT &T for 36 years before retiring. Robert passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Leesburg, Florida. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to The Villages in 2013. He and his wife of 66 years Ethel lived in New Smyrna Beach and Ormond Beach for over 30 years. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, and was stationed in the South Pacific Theater during World War II. During the Korean Conflict he served in the United States Marine Corps. He will be remembered by those closest to him for his warm smile, his always buttoned up and crisp appearance and his positive and upbeat attitude. He loved the game of golf and for over 12 year he worked as “The Starter” at the Tomoka Golf and Country Club, so that he could play as much as possible. His biggest joy was his family and was always a loving and devoted husband and father to his family. Besides his wife Ethel he is survived by his daughter – Deborah J. Antonoff of Valdosta, GA; 2 sons – Dennis C. Kee of DeLand, FL; and Donald R. Kee of Allentown, PA; and 7 grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
A graveside service is planned with military honors at 1:00 PM – November 1, 2016 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
