Robert S. Hattaway's Obituary
Robert Stanton “Stan” Hattaway peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
on December 12, 2022. Stan was born in Tallahassee, Florida to Bobby Alan Hattaway (deceased) and Diann Phelps Bowman on September 30, 1961.
Stan went to school in Orlando, Florida, entered the Army on October 20, 1980 and served
until September 15, 1984. Shortly after the army, Stan started an appliance business,
purchased a trailer park, and his dream 63 acre property in Crawfordville, FL. He loved riding
horses, his dog Brandy, and the greatest love of his life was his son, Zachariah Blain Hattaway.
Stan’s love for Zach was indescribable. He adored him and felt an overwhelming pride every
time he spoke of him.
Stan is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Alan Hattaway, Stepfather, Paul Robert Bowman and his sister-in-law, Angela
Hattaway.
Stan is survived by his beloved son, Zachariah Blain Hattaway (Stephanie), his mother, Diann
Bowman, brothers Dane Hattaway, Paul (Rosemary) Bowman Jr.; sisters Jenny (Clay)
McDonough, Rachel (Chris) Butler, and Elizabeth Miller as well as numerous nieces and
nephews: Luke Bowman and Kara (Tom) Cole, Daisy and Ransom (Kayla) Carlton, Emily and
Connor Kelley, Hanna Butler, Mia Miller, Bobby Miller, Taylor Miller, and JR Miller
A memorial will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at First Baptist Church Daytona Beach, FL.
