Mr. Robert O'Neal Frier's Obituary
Robert O’Neal “Bob” Frier, 70, Leesburg, FL went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2013 after fighting cancer for the past few months. Robert “Bob” passed away at home with his family and friends by his side. Mr. Frier was born on December 9, 1942 in Live Oak, FL to his parents Grover and Gracie Frier. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to his job with Cox Communications for 36 years. After he retired he was happiest spending time with his family and friends. Fishing, telling his jokes, cooking, and teaching kids how to fish. Robert “Bob” was someone who people always went to for advice. Bob never met a stranger and was a very outgoing person. Prior to retirement He was involved in many organizations in the community such as Rotary and being a Volunteer Fire Fighter. He is survived by: His loving wife of 51 years Betty Jo; Daughters: Betty (Johnnie) Renee Frier Massey and Angela Louise Frier Edmondson; Brothers: Charlie (Nancy) Frier, Lester (Sandra) Frier and Randy Frier; Sister: Martha Gaskins; Grandchildren: Kayla Thompson, Jamie (Julien) Edmondson Estoclet, Jared Edmondson, and Jessie Edmondson; Great-Grandchildren: Kimberlee Ward, Kloie Ward, and Milo Lestoclet. He is Predeceased by; Son in law: Donald Edmondson; Sister in law: Ellon Frier; Brother in law: James (Boe) Gaskins; and Grandson: Robert Thompson.
