Robert Manuel Cardoza's Obituary
Robert Manuel Cardoza, 74, of Summerfield, FL, began his Heavenly journey on April 6, 2024. Robert was born on January 17, 1950, in Winthrop, MA, to his loving parents; Manuel and Anna (Riley) Cardoza.
Bob was of the Catholic faith and became a resident of Florida only two years ago from Vermont, where he lived for over 20 years. He worked for many years in medical material management, and after his retirement enjoyed his role as a shuttlebus driver around the Shelburn Museum. Bob was very dedicated to his career, he put his heart and soul into his work and especially his family.
Bob loved to spend his time outside; camping, kayaking and exploring amusement parks.
Bob was a kind and loving man. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered fondly for many things, especially passing on his love of sports to his beloved daughter, (specifically the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots) for building Legos with his dear granddaughter, indulging in some Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and making plenty of memories along the way camping at Brandy Park in Naples, ME with his family.
Bob is survived by his adoring wife of 43 years, Alicia Cardoza, his daughter, Casey, and precious granddaughters; Khloe and Paislee. He is also survived by his siblings; Tom Cardoza and his wife Sandy of Parish, FL, Maureen Saffi and her husband Bob of Waterbury, VT, Ann Marie Cultrera and her husband Steve of Medford, MA, and sister-in-law Lorraine Cardoza of Andover, MA. He is also survived by his nieces, Laurie Flaherty, Renee Marshall, Kate Ormiston, Kimberly Alpuerto and Andrea Cultrera, a nephew; Brian Holsten and great nieces and nephews; Liam, Kate, Cole, Patrick, Maddie, Max, Wesley, Caitlyn, Mathew, and Sarah and his beloved dog, Buddy.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Richard and Ned Cardoza, nephew T.J. Cardoza.
