We just arrived at Hawthorne yesterday and were so saddened to learn of the passing of our dear neighbor Bob. The friendship between our families covers at least two decades. He was an avid swimmer and we had many pleasant conversations with him at the pool. He had an easy manner and a pleasant smile and we will miss him.

My memory are playing golf,horseshoes,cribbage,picnic with our family's and our weekend trips with our wife's to St. Louis to watch Cubs & Cardinals baseball. And of course to enjoy a cold beverage on occasion. Thanks for the memory's Bob.
I can’t seem to find the words to express the sadness I felt and continue to feel today after learning of Bob’s passing. Bob and Dorothy are a BIG part of a very special Topels Lakeside Park family....one that I have been fortunate to be part of for all 52 years of my life. Dorothy and family please accept April and my deepest condolences. We look forward to seeing all of you this Spring.
