Richard E. "Rich" Crocker's Obituary
Richard E. “Rich” Crocker, 77, of Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2020 after a 17 year journey with dementia. Rich was born on November 11, 1942 in Shreveport, Louisiana to his parents John R. Crocker and Bonnie (Russell) Crocker. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. He was a former Salesman in the Grocery Distribution Industry and also worked in Leesburg at the Publix Food Store for a short period where he was loved by all that worked with him. Rich enjoyed playing golf, traveling (especially cruises), and being surrounded by his loving family. He never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Cheryl A. Crocker of Leesburg, FL; two children: Marsha Young and her husband Steve of Versailles, KY; Danny Crocker and his wife Lizanne of Euharlee, GA; a sister: Beth Kuenzi and her husband Jim of Fate, TX; 6 loving grandchildren, who meant the world to him as he walked through dementia; and a niece and nephew.
