Raymond J. Soracco Jr.'s Obituary
Raymond J. Soracco age 77 passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 in Leesburg, Florida. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to the Continental Country Club/Wildwood area in 2011 from Boca Raton, Florida. He was a retired Private Detective and owned and operated Elisor Investigation Inc., Detective Agency in Boca Raton for over 30 years. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. Ray will be remembered for his competitive nature and always tried to be the best at whatever task he took on. Those closest to him use words like intelligent, supportive, organized, well read, always good for a laugh and a dedicated family man to describe him. He loved to tinker in his garage and loved spending time on the water riding his jet ski. Years ago he and his sons enjoyed racing dirt bikes together, and his competitive spirit really came out on the golf course.
Ray is survived by his wife of 54 years – Peggy; Sons – Thomas (Ana) Soracco of Orlando; and Todd (Lori) Soracco of Boca Raton; Daughter – Lynn (Karl) Adamson of Tampa and 3 Grandchildren – Nicolas; Danielle; and Joshua.
A Memorial Service honoring Ray’s life is planned for 11:00 AM Saturday – January 31, 2015 at Continental Country Club. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Ray can made a donation to The American Lung Association or the ASPCA.
