.Raymond E. Heydenburg, 80, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2018 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was born on June 8, 1938 in Wyoming Township, Michigan to his parents Eugene Heydenburg and Ada (Miller) Heydenburg. He was a former Journeyman and had worked for General Motors. He and his wife moved to Central Florida in 1997 from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church of Leesburg. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper and also as a Military Policeman. He enjoyed playing cards especially cribbage and euchre. He enjoyed bowling with his wife and friends until he was unable. He loved to play golf and scored two hole in ones while living in The Villages. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years: Maria Heydenburg of Leesburg, FL; two sons: Raymond Heydenburg of Ocala, FL and Mark (Katy) Heydenburg of Grand Haven, MI; three daughters: Maria Heydenburg of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Debra Fuller, Ph.D. and her husband, James Fuller of Bainbridge Island, WA and Tina Heydenburg of St. Augustine, FL; a brother: Jay Heydenburg of Saugatuck, MI; three sisters: Evelyn Anderson of North Carolina, Marian Abson of Belding, MI and Vicky Wiles of Texas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brother and sister, Eugene Heydenburg and Mary Piper. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 1:00PM at Grace Bible Baptist Church, Leesburg, Florida with a visitation to be held prior to the service at the church from 11:00AM till the hour of service at Grace Bible Baptist Church, Leesburg. The burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leesburg.
