Raymond G. Brockmeyer's Obituary
Raymond G. Brockmeyer, 83, Center Hill, FL. passed away on August 5, 2015 at The Villages Hospice House in The Villages under the care of loving family and Staff of Hospice. Mr. Brockmeyer was born on August 30, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland to his parents Raymond Jacob Brockmeyer and Anna Barbara (Kahl) Brockmeyer. Mr. Brockmeyer was the former owner of Brockmeyer and Son’s Refinishing and Repair Service located in Leesburg, Florida. He was a resident of Lake County for over 40 years and was of the Christian faith. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a former member of the Moose lodge of Leesburg and loved to go fishing. He is survived by his loving daughter: Debbie Finney of Leesburg, FL; two sons: Wayne Brockmeyer of Weirsdale, FL and William Brockmeyer of Florida; a sister: Dorothy Woodall of Ft. McCoy, FL; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his closest and dearest friend: Jackie Hattaway.
