Randy A. Jones, Sr.'s Obituary
Randy A. Jones Sr. age 61, passed away early Monday at his home in Yalaha, Florida. Born in Squire, West Virginia Mr. Jones moved to this area in 1969 from Huntington, West Virginia. Before his retirement he owned and operated the Westgate-Jones insurance company in Leesburg. Randy was a born again believer and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Leesburg. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served as a Medical corpsman, and for many years served as a Little League Coach in Wildwood, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife – Sandy; Son – Randy A. (Emily) Jones, Jr.; Daughter – Candi (Rick) Harper; Grandchildren – Brock and Bethany Jones and Madelyn Harper; Mother – Lucille Jones; Brother/Sister - Law - Gene and Linda Armbrister; and Niece – Melissa Armbrister. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P. M. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Private Graveside Services will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to: The Building Fund at Emmanuel Baptist Church – P. O. Box 492225 Leesburg, FL 34749, or Cornerstone Hospice of Lake and Sumter Counties – 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. All arrangement has been entrusted to Page Theus Funerals and Cremations.
