Ralph William Moore's Obituary
Ralph William Moore, 80, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2017 after a long illness. His wife of 54 years was at his side along with other family members.
Ralph was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 23, 1937 to Monroe and Gladys Moore (both deceased). He had 4 sisters and 3 brothers (all deceased).
Survived by wife Sandra, son Ralph Michael and wife Natalie, son Gary and wife Kellie, daughters Rhonda Cooley and Lisa Roll Shann. Also 8 grandchildren, Casey, Corey, Nina, Cheyanne, Gary Jr., Darcie, Alicia and Amber. Also 4 great-grandchildren.
Ralph lived in Clarkston, Michigan and worked at Oakland County MI for 31 years 5 months. Upon his retirement May 23, 1992, he and his wife moved to Florida so they could enjoy his two favorite things year around – playing golf and going to Disney World. He liked to practice his golf and became very good, having 4 holes-in-one and 1 double eagle during his playing years. Before his death he got to ride the new “Soaring” at Epcot. He loved it and when health problems made it difficult to go, he and his wife still made 3 visits to Epcot so he could ride that ride.
Ralph loved his family very much and even though he presented a crusty exterior, he had a huge heart and would do anything for them.
He is missed by all that loved him.
