Ralph O. Mach's Obituary
Ralph O. Mach age 81 passed away Wednesday evening, October 23, 2013 in Leesburg, Florida. Ralph was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to the Leesburg area in 1998 from the Chicago suburbs. Before his retirement he worked as a warehouse manager for a large paper distributor in Illinois. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served during the Korean War. He was also a longtime member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg Florida and was very active in the Knights of Columbus when living in Illinois. Ralph will be remembered as a quiet and personal man. He had a deep love for classical music as well as jazz, and when living in the Chicago area he took advantage of every opportunity to attend performances of the “Jazz Greats.” He was happiest spending time outdoors manicuring his beautiful lawn under the watchful eye of his dog Cinnamon.
Ralph is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years – Marian; Son-Paul Mach of Springfield, Illinois; Daughter Carol (Jerry) Nanfria of Sycamore, Illinois; his loving sister - Joyce Mach of Leesburg and 2 adored Grandchildren –Joseph and Maggie.
A funeral mass is scheduled for 8:30 A. M. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Father John Giel serving as Officiant.
