Ah, we have lost one of " the girls". Phyllis was the quieter, dry wit of the pair of smiling faces that we came to love, with Gloria as her backup and enthusiastic "partner in crime". We spent many a day or afternoon or dinner, enjoying their company, laughing our way from appetizers to dessert, planning handyman to-do lists or coming by to visit for "just a minute", that inevitably morphed into hours of conversation. Their willingness to share each other's lives and care for one another through thick and thin has been a wonderful inspiration for us. Their ability to laugh their way through life's trials and bounce back with enthusiasm continues to amaze us as well. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our friend but we commend her to the care of Jesus and look to rejoin her in glory. Sleep well, friend.
