Jeanne was a great friend and mentor to me. I shall always remember her dedication to the underpriviledged people that she served so many years. Her voluntgeer work for Sumter Santa provided Christmas gifts to many, many children who otherwise would not have had gifts. I shall always remember her and my life has been enriched by knowing Jeanne. Marsha Perkins
Grandma :
Although it has been a few years since I last saw you, I remember you always had a smile on your face, no matter how bad you were feeling. I know your family is grieving, but you have left them with a lifetime of wonderful memories and the joy of knowing unconditional love. I know they adored you and that you and the Lord will guide them through this difficult time.
All of my love to you and your entire family.........Marsha
Jeanne was the most caring and giving person I have known. I enjoyed our many years in Pilot together. She was truly dedicated to serving God and those around her. She will be greatly missed.
I worked with Jeanne at State Welfare. I remember Jeanne's kindness when my mother died in 1969. Since it was the day before my child's first birthday, I did not get to have her birthday party so several weeks or a month later Jeanne had her a birthday party at her house. I can still remember her children, Pat Johnson's daughter, Stefanie, and my Laura playing on the swing set in her back yard. It was just the grandest thing for Jeanne to that for my Laura's birthday. She will be missed. My prayers are with the family.
