Paul R. Hanson's Obituary
Paul R. Hanson age 89 passed away early Saturday morning, February 18, 2012 in Lady Lake, Florida. Mr. Hanson was born in Madison, Wisconsin and moved to the Lady Lake area in 1986 from Jefferson, Wisconsin. He was retired from the Carnation Corporation where he worked as a machine operator and repair technician for over 20 years. He was a longtime member of Gloria Dey Lutheran Church, Leesburg, Florida and a former member of the Lions Club. He was also a Master Mason and a member of the High Twelve International a organization which supports causes within the Masons with an emphasis on youth and support of patriotic events. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 57 years – Violet. He is survived by his son- Michael (Debbie) Hanson of Sheridan, Wyoming; a daughter – Diane (Jim) Konz of Madison, Wisconsin; Brother – Neil (Pamela) Hanson of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin; Sisters- Alice Anderson of Oskaloosa, Iowa; and Joan Butterfield of North Carolina; and one grandchild – Monica Carter. There will be a Memorial Service celebrating Paul’s life at ~10:30A.M., Monday, February 27, 2012 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Leesburg, Florida. Pastor Thomas S. Church will serve as Officiant. Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with all arrangements.
