Olene S West's Obituary
Olene S. West, 93, of Houghton Lake, MI passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014. Mrs. West was born August 17, 1921 in Gainesboro, TN to the late James and Winnie (Stafford) Poston. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church of Leesburg and enjoyed needlework and quilting. She had moved from Leesburg in 2002 to be with her son and his wife, Charles and Rose West of Houghton Lake, MI. She is also survived by another son, Kenneth and Mary West of East Lansing, MI, 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30am, Thursday, September 25, 2014 in the Page-Theus Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg.
