Norman Jack Davis' Obituary
Norman Jack Davis, 91, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015. Mr. Davis was born March 18, 1924 in Anderson, IN to Emmer E. and Mildred (Mills) Davis. He was a WWII Veteran of the Army Air Corp. He retired as a drafting supervisor from GM and moved here in 1978 from Anderson. He was a member of the South 14th Street Church of Christ and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Marie; children, Kay and Gibson Steed of Lakeland, Duane and Debra Davis of Loganville, GA and Mitzi and Darrell Melton of Lady Lake; sisters, Marie Dotson, Janice Parrish and Jean McSherry all of Anderson, IN; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in the South 14th Street Church of Christ, Leesburg with visitation from 10am until 11am and interment following the service at Florida National Cemetery.
