NOEL HARRIS's Obituary
Noel Harris, 87 of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Villages Hospice House, with his family by his side.
Noel was born on September 21, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa to his parents Eugene Harris and Alease Gatewood Harris.
He was an aeronautical and civil engineer for the U. S. Government. He retired in 1986 as a construction cost analyst for Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
He loved staying active in the community. He was last employed as a school bus driver until December of 2018.
He is survived by his wife Lois Elaine Berry Harris; his son,
Kurt Noel Harris, MD; and his daughter, Adrienne Janice Harris Mullen. His son Darryl Brian Harris preceded him in death. He had five grandchildren; Ronnie, Brian, Brandon, Danielle, and Julian, and four great grandchildren; Christopher, Dayana, Brandon Jr, and Noah.
Celebration of life will be held at Legacy of Leesburg Social Hall at 2 PM, on Sunday, November 4, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA, in Noel’s name.
