Nicholas Joseph Sylvester's Obituary
Nicholas Joseph Sylvester passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the age of 86. Nicholas was born on March 29, 1927 in New London, CT to the late Rosario and Marie Sylvester. Mr. Sylvester served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. While living in the Connecticut area he enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Just over eight years ago he moved to The Villages, FL where he has made his home with his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia Sylvester. He was preceded in death by a daughter; Dawn Renee’ Sylvester, one brother, and one sister. He is survived by his wife, and one sister, and several nieces. There will be a graveside service with military honors for Mr. Sylvester on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers memorials in Nicholas’ honor may be directed to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd. Tavares, FL 32778.
