Nancy Lee Coy's Obituary
Nancy L. Coy (nee Stewart), 62, of Amherst, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 22, 2012 at her winter home in Leesburg, Florida. She was born June 28, 1949 in Lorain, moving to Wellington as a child where she attended and graduated Wellington High School.Nancy had been a Catering Assistant at Spring Valley Country Club in Elyria before retiring. Nancy enjoyed collecting antique ceramic turltles, being on a bowling league, and her involvement in the Senior Center of Leesburg. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.Nancy is survived by her mother Mabel Jackson (nee Barber), step-father Rollin Jackson, and her sister Gloria Pasnow (nee Stewart); Her children Joseph M. Coy of Avon Lake, Timothy M. Coy Jr. (Krista) of Amherst, Anmarie Edwards (Glenn) of South Amherst, and Charlotte Tache (Matt) of South Amherst Karen Lambert of Boston; grandchildren, Briahnon Lambert, Christy Sykes, Alex Lambert, Morgan Edwards and Kayla Palmer; great grandchildren Alleigh Sykes and Sloane Plank.She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Timothy M. Coy Sr. and her father, Robert E. Stewart.There will be a private memorial service for family and friends to be announced at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
