Muriel B. Sendelbach's Obituary
Muriel Sendelbach, 92, Leesburg, Florida passed away on October 8, 2016 at Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville, Florida surrounded by her loving family and caregiver of many years. Mrs. Sendelbach was born on September 22, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York to her parents George Lamparter and Helen (Schenk) Lamparter. She was a member of The Catholic Community of St. Paul, Leesburg, Florida. She was a devoted and loving homemaker to her husband and children. Mrs. Sendelbach and her late husband Charles moved to Leesburg in 1986 from Baldwin, New York. Muriel and Charles were former members of the Cana Club of St. Peters Lutheran church in Baldwin, New York. She was an avid reader and loved to cook and bake and enjoyed her indoor garden. She enjoyed creating crafts of all kinds and was a very generous, kind and happy person. She loved animals especially her dog Schmoozer. She loved and enjoyed children and provided childcare for many of her working friends and neighbors. She is survived by her loving children: Suzanne Sendelbach of Lady Lake, FL, Russell (Robin) Sendelbach of Chelmsford, MA, and June Berkun (Tim Swanson) of Wantagh, N.Y. and her devoted care giver Angelito Tajaros; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Lisa, Meredith, Christopher and Amanda; seven great-grandchildren: Francesco, John, Joe, Edan, Adalyn, Connor and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles Sendelbach. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at (TBA) at The Catholic Community of St. Paul, Leesburg, Florida with Burial to follow the Funeral Mass at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida. The family has requested that donations may be made to the Humane Society in Muriel’s loving memory. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.pagetheus.com.
