Mona Anne Beaulieu's Obituary
Mona Anne Beaulieu, 79, of Leesburg passed away Sunday Dec.5, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family after fighting a brave and courageous four year battle against multiple myeloma cancer. She was 79. A graduate of Leesburg High School in 1949, she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg from the time she was 16. Her love of children led her to work for many years in the church day care center. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Kirby and her parents, Ben and Flossie Kirby. A loving wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Sheldon; son, Greg (Brenda) Wilson of Tullahoma, TN.; daughter, Jacquelyn (Frank) Stanfield of Leesburg; her twin sister, Nona (Marvin) McKee of Tullahoma, TN; three loving granddaughters whom she adored: Shayna (Jimmy) Grunewald, Danielle (Brian) Roberson and Brooke (Kwangshin) Hwang, all of Leesburg; six great-grandchildren who loved and adored their “Mimi”: Anna Grace and Jack Grunewald, Julia and Olivia Roberson, Elizabeth Hwang and her brother Christian, who will be born most any time. She eagerly awaited his birth but now rejoices in anticipation in Heaven. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Thurs. Dec. 9th followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Page –Theus Funeral Home in Leesburg. A special thanks goes out to her hospice nurses.
