Milton Lawrence's Obituary
Milton Cecil Lawrence, 79, of Fruitland Park, FL, passed away at home with his loving family at his side on November 2, 2025. Milton was born on November 19, 1945, in Moultrie, GA, to his loving parents; Clyde and Betty Sue (Crosby) Lawrence.
Milton moved to Florida from Georgia at the age of 5 and was of the Baptist faith. On November 8, 1969, Milton married the love of his life, Linda Booth and the two would have celebrated 56 years of marriage.
Milton worked in the restaurant industry as an owner for over 35 years and owned many over the years. For the last ten years before his retirement, he owned Milton's in Leesburg.
Milton was a member of the Men's Quarterback Club in Leesburg, he loved football and was a huge fan of the Florida Gators. Milton also enjoyed spending his time fishing, playing dominoes, and especially being at home with his family. He was also known as the BBQ pit master.
Milton never met a stranger and was known by many around Leesburg, he will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by his loving family.
Milton is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Linda Lawrence, his children; Rhonda Kay Lawrence and Grant Cecil Lawrence, as well as two grandchildren; Miranda and Bryce and a sister, Melva Unger.
Milton is preceded in passing by his parents and a brother, Marcus Clyde Lawrence.
