Millman Albury Ingraham's Obituary
Millman "Mimi" Albury Ingraham passed away on Janurary 6th, 2022 at the age of 91. Millman was born M arch 4th, 1930 in Key West, FL to Earl and Twiler "Twila" Ingraham. Was given the nickname of Mimi by his friends and family. He was the fourth of six children and would have to leave school at the age of 12 to financially support his siblings. His devotion and loving support to his family followed him through the rest of his life from his siblings down to his grandchildren. In 1948, at the age of 18 he married his first wife Geraldine "Billie" Jaycocks. He would enter the United States Army, were he would see action in the Korean War. Wounded in battle and was awarded the purple heart for his service. On returning from the war he went on to become a master plumber and became the father of two children, Mark and Sharon. He eventually retired as the superintendent of maintenance from the Naval Air Station in 1980. After retiring he moved with his wife Billie to Sorrento, FL. Sadly, lost his wife Billy of 40 years in 1988. Started a new pastime of ballroom dancing, where he eventually meet his second wife Dr. Louise Gentry and they would go on to travel all over the country dancing. Millman and Louise settled in Leesburg, FL and remained there for over 20 years. Millman is survived by his two children Mark Ingraham and Sharon Sowers, as well as 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Dr. Louise Gentry Ingraham.
