Mildred "Mickie" Booth's Obituary
Mildred (Mickie) Booth, 92 of Leesburg, passed away on December 3, 2019 at her home. Mickie was born on June 18, 1927 to Jesse and Ruby (Bourquardez) Page in Linden, Florida. Mickie married the love of her life, Donald James Booth on March 10 1947 and he passed away on May 15, 1983.
Mickie first of all loved her family, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, spending any time she could with them. She loved to travel and was an excellent cook. Mickie worked at the Leesburg High School for many years as one of the “Lunch Ladies” prepping and serving lunches to many students over the years.
Mickie is survived by her daughters Linda and Milton Lawrence of Fruitland Park, and Mary and Leslie Jacobs of North Carolina, grandchildren Tracie Tupts, Rhonda Pincus, Christy Escoto and Grant Lawrence, six great-grandchildren, Miranda, Cooper, Zoё, Kai, Bryce, Sandpiper, and many nieces and nephews.
Mickie is preceded in death by her parents, husband and six brothers and sisters.
There will be a visitation on December 7th 2019 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service following at 11 AM. Internment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg.
