My favorite memories of my Uncle Mic were on the farm in Foley. I would beg my parents to take us up, so I could ride horses with my cousins, play in the barn and hen house, and hang out in my aunt's amazing garden! Uncle Mic was always willing to saddle up the horses so I could ride and we talked horses and "ranch" life together. He inspired a spirit of adventure and authentic living, as his lifestyle was very out of the box for our family. Warm memories of him and that very special place remain with me still.

SO many special memories with Mick, Joan and family and too many to count!! Looking back right now though, I would have to say, watching Mick dance with his daughter Lindsay a few years ago at her wedding, is one of my favorite memories. I love you all and will forever have special thoughts spanning many years, of your handsome cowboy Mick, who was a truly wonderful man. Our sincerest condolences.

As best I can remember I never, we never got into an argument he was always easy going and seemed to accept the fact you had a right to a opinion.
One time I will never forgot we were having breakfast with MOM she noticed I didn't want to go to School....wanted to know why I told her every time I went out for recess a bunch of boys were waiting for me along with their bully leader. Mom turned to Mick & said you know what to do. First recess they were waiting for me but right behind them was brother Michael & Runcho Knox.....saw some fellas sort of airborne the rest trying out for the track team. Never had a problem since......was walking tall from third grade to fifth.

Dear Joan and family,
Our family will always remember our snowmobiling trip with Mick through Yellowstone National Park! The buffalo were plentiful and some looked scary, but Mick just kept us all moving to avoid the danger! Mick had a wonderful sense of humor and generous spirit...he will be greatly missed but long remembered!
We send our love to Joan and the family and would like to help in any way we can.
