Melanie Rayne Whitehurst, 4, Groveland, Florida went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2021 in Groveland, Florida. Melanie was born on October 11, 2016 in Clermont, Florida to her parents, Brandon Lee Thomas and Britney Ann Marie (Whitehurst) Thomas. Melanie was a lifelong resident of Groveland and was a member of Bay Lake Baptist Church in Groveland. She is survived by her loving parents: Brandon Lee Thomas and Britney Ann Marie Thomas of Groveland, FL; maternal grandfather: John Joseph Whitehurst and his wife Jessica Whitehurst of Groveland, FL; maternal grandmother: Karen Elizabeth Bradham of Groveland, FL; paternal grandparents: Kenneth Harrison and Mona Harrison of Groveland, FL; maternal great-grandmother: Connie Bradham of Groveland, FL; paternal great-grandfather and great grandmother: Dale Hector and Charlene Hector of Pine Hills, FL; loving brother and sister: John Wayne Thomas and Lillian Marie Thomas both of Groveland, FL; loving aunts and uncles: Lisa Michelle Turner, Chase Allan Brehm, Autumn Nicole Brehm, Joshua Lynn Brehm, Jerry Turner, Maci Ryann Hewitt, Brook Annette Whitehurst, John Joseph Whitehurst, Jr., Logan Neil Blevins, Taylor Lyn Hewitt, Cody Matthews Lancaster, Tyler Clinton Lancaster, Damon Jacob Culver (Bad Grandpa), Mark Clinton Bradham, Jr., Brandi Bradham, Lisa and Jerry Turner, Nick and Amy Turner, Len and Penny Harrison and John Thomas Stone, II, and many-many loving cousins. Melanie was preceded in death by her maternal, great-grandfather, Mark Clinton Bradham and an uncle, Michael Watkins. The Family will be having a Celebration of Melanie’s Life on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 12:00PM till 5:00PM at Skyline Ranch in Groveland, Florida.
