Mary E. Homan's Obituary
Mary E. Homan, 77, of Leesburg, went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2013 after a brief illness. She was born May 19, 1936 in Kissimmee. She was raised by loving parents along with her sister and two brothers in a close, Christian, fun loving family. Mary graduated from Osceola High School in 1954 where she was active in the Beta Club, Glee Club, Thespians, played clarinet in the band, and was a majorette. She married her soul mate, Sonny, September 1, 1966. They lived in incredible happiness until his passing in 2004. Mary cherished her time with Sonny and her family. She was the eternal optimist, everyone’s friend, and lit up every room she graced. An avid golfer, she was extremely proud of her five holes in one. She is survived by her beloved son, Michael, her brother, Kenny, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other precious family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
