Mary Agnes Buck's Obituary
Mary Agnes McConnell Buck, 104, formerly of Leesburg, FL. passed away peacefully on September 29, 2013. She was lovingly cared for by the staff of the Edgewater Unit of Waterman Village of Mt. Dora, FL, where she resided during the last four years of her life. She was born on July 29, 1909 in Cresson, Pennsylvania to her parents William H. and Zita McConnell. Agnes was most proud of having been an Elementary School Teacher for thirty five years. She is survived by her loving daughter: Elaine (Robert) Hamlet of Earleville, MD; a brother: William H. McConnell, Jr. of Cresson, PA; four grandchildren: Dr. Josh Berdine, Dr. Matthew Berdine, Dr. Daniel Berdine and Thomasina McIntyre and Colleen Hamlet; ten great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Herman, and her daughter, Virginia Berdine, and her brothers and sisters: Adaline Andrews, Charles McConnell, Donald McConnell, Clair McConnell, Pauline McNulty, Graven McConnell, and Camilla Doctor. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida.
