Marvin H. Hammond's Obituary
Marvin Hershel Hammond, 69, of Wildwood, FL, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2025. Marvin was a true Florida native, born in Winter Garden, FL on November 6, 1955 to his loving parents; John F. Hammond and Dura D. (Terrell) Jenkins.
Marvin was of the Baptist faith and a long time farmer. He was a hard working man and a member of the Okahumpka 4-H Club and National FFA Organization. Aside from farming, Marvin loved spending his time fishing and hunting.
Marvin is preceded in passing by his beloved wife of over 30 years, Rhonda Hammond. Marvin stuck by her side and loved her dearly until her passing in November of 2024. He is also preceded in passing by his father, John Franklin Hammond.
Marvin is survived by a son, Donald B. Hammond, siblings: John W. Hammond, George Robert Hammond and Myra Carol Meritt, as well as his mother, Dura Dale Jenkins and grandsons; Thomas Carl Howard and Gunner Cole Hammond.
