Marvin James Blackwell's Obituary
Marvin James Blackwell age 53, passed away Friday afternoon, March 21, 2014 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Marvin was born in Antrim County, Michigan and moved to the Fruitland Park area in 1997 from Central Lake, Michigan. He was formerly employed by The Villages Design Division as a Furniture Repair and restoration person. He was an avid and loyal fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Lions and his support was unwavering. He also enjoyed NASCAR and always pulled for #14…Tony Stewart.
Marvin will be remembered by those close to him for his love of spending time in the mountains of Tennessee hiking to peaceful waterfalls and streams, but he came alive when he spent time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife and companion of 14 years Cleo, his loving children, brother, and grandchildren.
