Mark Thomas Haug's Obituary
Mark Thomas Haug, 72, of Aurora CO, began his Heavenly journey on June 9, 2025. Mark was born on September 30, 1952, in Madison, WI, to his loving parents; Thomas and Shirley (Kinard) Haug.
Mark received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Mark's passion was Clean Energy and his love was Wind Power. Mark spent his career selling wind and solar around the world.
On August 9th, 1986, Mark married his love, Cynthia Chavez. In 2010, the couple moved from Hartland, WI to Aurora, CO.
Mark was a Christian man with an avid love for international traveling. His favorite country was Italy and city was Florence. Mark will be remembered fondly for being a world traveler with his loyalty only to Delta Airlines (Over 1.5 Million Miles)and the Marriott. Mark loved his sports. He played for Roncalli High School and won the WI state football championships at Lambeau Field. His love was the Packers and his motto he lived by was “Go Pack Go.” Mark also enjoyed playing golf and was a proud father to five beautiful children and Opa to seven precious grandchildren.
Mark will be missed dearly by his loving wife of 39 years, Cynthia Haug, his children; Brandon Charles (Alyssa) Haug, Lauren Jaqueline (Jon) Spencer, Carlie Meishan (Josh) Bixby, Kyle (Nicki) Haug and Chad (Jamie) Haug, his grandchildren; Milo Breeze Spencer, Otis Breeze Spencer, Charles Elton Haug, Charlotte Grace Mills, Owen Haug, Madison Haug and Cole Haug, as well as four siblings; John(Char)Haug, Thomas Haug, Mary Katherine (Richard)Bianchi, and Anne Marie(Gary)Bloesl.
A Celebration of Life service for Mark will be held at a later date in Colorado.
