Marguerite was raised in Fredonia, New York, by her loving father, grandmother and aunt. She went to Michigan State University where she met the love of her life, Eldon Shotwell. They were married for 56 wonderful years before his passing in July 1997. Marguerite was a great businesswoman. Marguerite was a devout member of the Episcopal church and was always looking for ways to help others. She volunteered at her church as an Altar Guild member and she also was an active member of Daughters of the King, P.E.O. and volunteered for Hospice. Marguerite always wanted to be remembered with the words, She Tried.
