Margaret Hilton Locke's Obituary
Margaret Hilton Locke age 64, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center. She was born in Thomaston, Georgia but moved to the Leesburg area at the age of 3 and moved to the Fruitland Park area over 40 years ago. She was a homemaker who proudly wore the title “Mom” as she was a mother figure to so many. She is remembered by those close to her for her beautiful smile, and her loving nature as she was always hugging family and guests as they arrived and departed her company. She was happiest when she was playing bingo with her friends, and watching NASCAR with her family while cheering on Tony Stewart. She will also be fondly remembered as being strong willed and a really good cook with her specialty being lasagna. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 23 years William in 1990.
She is survived by her son – William Frederick (Karen) Locke of Adamsville, Florida; daughter Loretta Locke Campman of Tavares; and 3 grandchildren – Loren, Jennifer, and William.
The family will receive friends at the Page-Theus Funeral Home, 914 West Main Street, Leesburg, Florida on from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M., Friday, August 29, 2014. Funeral Services will follow on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Lou Ann Howard serving as Officiant. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Shiloh Cemetery, Fruitland Park, Florida.
