Margaret Drue Gross' Obituary
Margaret Drue Gross age 89 passed away Thursday, June 04, 2015 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, Florida. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Leesburg and was a former bank teller with First National Bank which later became SunTrust Bank. She was a long time member of the Morrison United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Leesburg Boat Club and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She will be remembered by those closest to her for her easy going and sweet natured personality. She had a deep love of animals and loved spending time in her garden. She appreciated flowers and had a love for flower arranging. She also loved spending time boating but most of all she enjoyed spending time on the beautiful beaches of Florida’s Gulf side.
She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Paul Gross and her sister Alyce Kramer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter – Marcia (Jim) Amos of Ocoee; stepson – John Gross of Leesburg; brother – Hugh Glenn of Chicago; brother-in-law - George Kramer of Leesburg; nephew - Glenn Kramer of Orlando; niece - Tami Kramer of Thoiry, France and great-nieces – Michaela and Kalli Kramer of Orlando.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Page-Theus Funeral Home in downtown Leesburg with funeral services following immediately at 1:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
