Mae Eloise Ford's Obituary
Mae Eloise Ford, 83 of Palmetto, Florida, passed away on February 5, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ed-gar, and her sons, Bruce E. Ford of Linthicum Heights, Md. and Douglas B. Ford of Crownsville, Md. Born in Annapolis, Md. on April 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Basil and Maisie Amelia Brandenburg Cole, the third of nine children. She worked at Fort Meade, Md. during WW II and the Korean War, Where she eventually met her husband. She moved to Bradenton, Fla in 1979 where she continued to spend her time painting, drawing, fishing and being a wonderful wife and Mother. She was a gentle soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A private service will be held at Skyway Memorial Gardens. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238 or the American Cancer Society .
