Lucille Florence Royce's Obituary
Lucille Florence Royce, 75, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. She grew up and lived in St. Albans, Vermont for 71 years and 4 years in Florida. She attended Holy Angels Catholic School and Bellows Free Academy. She worked as a waitress while raising her young sons. Lucy also worked for IBM and Franklin Bank and retired as an Immigration Officer for the Federal Government. Lucy was a Captain in the Vermont State Guard which helped troops deploy and return from Afghanistan.
She leaves her husband of 50 years Eric Royce; sons Wayne Royce (Debbie), Stephen Royce (Natasha), Glen Royce and Lance Royce (Ellen); brother Pete Peno (Fran); 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Floyd Maskell and brother Albert Lanoue.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6-8 pm, located at The Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, 914 W. Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018, at 11:30 am, located at Florida National Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery. A reception will follow the graveside service at 1 pm, at The Highland Lakes Clubhouse in Leesburg.
