Lucille Margaret Willis' Obituary
Lucille M. Willis passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the age of 79. She was born on May 22, 1930 in Minneola, FL. to the late Ernest and Viola Sloan. Lucille was employed as a Unit Secretary for over 18 years at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, and gardening. She loved flowers of all sorts, but roses were her favorite. In 1986 she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Paul Willis. She was also preceded by a son Erwin Clyde Willis, a brother Kenneth Sloan, and a sister Sharon Rozar. Lucille is survived by a son Dale Willis of Leesburg, two grand-children Tara Smith and Clint Willis, and two great-grandchildren Austin and Alexis Smith. She is also survived two brothers Dwight Sloan and Charles Sloan, three sisters; Vivian Engle, Elizabeth Sloan Guion, and Rachel Sloan. Funeral services for Mrs. Willis will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday evening, April 19, 2010, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in the family plot at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens will follow the services Tuesday.
