Lucile M. Gorton's Obituary
Licile M. Gorton, 95, of Leesburg, FL passed away August 7, 2010. She was born in Flint, MI and moved to Leesburg, FL in 1965. She was nurse for 50 years during which time she was a nurse volunteer for the ADRA. She was a member of the Lady Lake Seventh Day Adventist Church. Lucile also enjoyed collecting and refurbishing antiques. Lucile is survived by her sons: Gerald L. Gorton of Burton, MI and Lawrence W. Gorton of Flint, MI; daughter, Beverly Schomaker of N. Ft. Myers, FL; many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Spencer W. Gorton in 1997. There will be a family gathering Thursday, Aug. 12th from 10-11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Leesburg.
