Diane Zipperer Ponder
Aunt Linnie, you will be missed! Years ago I visited you in Leesburg and fell in love with your yard; the Rose of Sharon and azaleas that were everywhere. When I started to leave you gave me a pot of spider lilies. I started to thank you but you stopped me, saying, "Girl, don't ever thank someone for a pass along plant...it won't grow!" Now I tell people the same when sharing plants. I came home after that weekend and bought myself some Rose of Sharon, and they bloomed for many years. The spider lilies, they continue to come back each spring. And my yard is full of azaleas. Your memory will live in my heart as well as my yard. Love you! Diane Zipperer Ponder.
P.S. I hope you remembered to give daddy a hug when you got to heaven😇.
