Leslie Kenneth Guest, 88, Leesburg, FL passed away on September 8, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, FL. Mr. Guest was born on March 12, 1926 in Miami, Florida to his parents Alvin Lester Guest and Amanda (Hardy) Guest. Mr. Guest moved to Leesburg in 2002 from Chiefland, FL and was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Leesburg, FL. He was an Internal Auditor for the Sherwin-Williams Paint Company in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a veteran of both the U.S. Army during World War II and the U.S. Air Force during post World War II, where he served as a commissioned officer. He was a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, and had been a proud member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity for over 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Lillian Guest of Leesburg, FL; a niece: Angie Guest; a cousin: Martha Ashe and many loving friends. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 8:30AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with military honors.
