Lenè Zalla's Obituary
Lenè Zalla (83) passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2024, in Winter Garden, FL.
Lene was born in Deventer, Holland to her parents Kurt and Nore Brauner who were Holocaust survivors. Lenè and her family would immigrate to Jacksonville, FL when she was just 5 years old. From there, she would move to Orlando, FL where she would meet and marry the love of her life, Joel M. Zalla. Then they would move to West Palm Beach, FL where they would start a family. As a family, they would spend their summers camping across the United States.
Later in life, they would retire to Leesburg, FL. Lenè was very active in her community and enjoyed participating in many activities including Mah Jong, Bunco, and Jazz dancing.
Lenè was known for her laughter, smile, and caring demeanor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Nore Brauner, and her loving husband, Joel Zalla.
Lenè is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Veen (Chad) and Angie King (Andy) and her granddaughter, Rachel Veen.
