Leah Kay Lenhart's Obituary
Leah Kay Lenhart, 86, of Leesburg, FL passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023. Leah was born on October 19, 1936, in Piqua Ohio, to her loving parents Russell and Francis Landon.
Leah married the love of her life Richard (Dick) Lenhart on April 4, 1992. Two years into the marriage the couple would begin the journey to Florida in 1994. Leah came to call Leesburg her home, she had been a resident of the city for twenty-nine years. During her time in Leesburg, she became a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church.
Leah will be remembered fondly for her smiling face which could always light up a room. She was loved by everyone. During her free time, she enjoyed reading and spending time outside watching birds. Her time of sewing will always be remembered by the family due to the love that was put in each stitch as she mended and created garments.
She is survived by her sons; Bart Besley and wife Sharon; Eddie Besley and wife Barb; Randy Besely, Danielle Besley; and Mike Besley. Daughters; Shari Withey and husband Chris, Leigh, Lori, and Lisa. Brother, Rusty Landon and sisters, Jackie McGillvary, Gail Voorhees, and Marion Little. Seven grandchildren, Jeremey, John, Logan, Alan, Amanda, Jason, Trinity, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Leah is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Leslie.
