Larry T. Krech's Obituary
Larry Krech left his earthly life for his new and wonderful life on Nov. 1, 2011. He was born on Jan. 18, 1940 in Blue Island, IL. He moved to Florida in 1976 and became the owner of Eddie’s Groceteria on Main Street in Leesburg. He went on to a variety of successful endeavors. Larry operated Pal’s Foodway, which became Save-A-Lot on Hwy 27 in Leesburg. He also owned and operated a laundromat, dry cleaner and bike shop. Larry was an avid cyclist having ridden his bike in several countries as well as straight across the U.S. from East coast to the West coast. He later ‘retired’ to raise animals, having over 400 goats and 15 dogs at one time in Center Hill. The most significant event in Larry’s life was coming to know the God of Israel and being adopted into the Kingdom of God. He was a steadfast follower of the Lord and His teachings. Larry is survived by Peggy, his wife of 37 years, sons Jim Krech, Mike Krech and daughter-in-law Liz, and daughter Jennyfer Krech. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Josh, Jessica, Katie and Sydney. A graveside service for Larry will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg. In lieu of flowers the family has requested a single stem flower or memorial stone for placement on the casket.“HE WHO HEARS MY WORD, AND BELIEVES HIM WHO SENT ME, HAS ETERNAL LIFE AND DOES NOT COME INTO JUDGEMENT BUT HAS PASSED OUT OF DEATH INTO LIFE.” John 5:24 Page-Theus Funeral HomeAnd Cremation Services
