Kenneth John Vannucci's Obituary
Now in the arms of his Lord, Kenneth John Vannucci, born on November 18, 1927 (84 years old), passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 after a short illness. A resident of Arkdale, WI and a snowbird to Leesburg, FL since 1988, Ken was a retired Data Processing Operator for the Harnischfeger Corporation in Milwaukee, WI. Ken served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Leesburg, FL and St. Joseph’s Church in Adams-Friendship, WI, and had previously enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, golfing and playing Bocce Ball. He was currently active in a local Sheepshead Club and played poker with the Triple “P” Club in Milwaukee, WI. Survivors include wife Frances J Vannucci, children Kathryn (Robert) Moody of Menomonee Falls, WI, Michael Vannucci of Vero Beach, FL, Jeanne Phelps and fiancé’ Jim Sendt of Elkhorn, WI, and John (Patricia) Vannucci of Chanhassen, MN. Also survived by grandchildren; Tina, Mark (Erin), Mathew (Kelly), Katie, Ted, Olivia, Erika, Anthony and JoAnn, plus great-grandchildren; Jordyn, Cordell, Gavin and Mason. He is further survived by a brother Frank (Barbara) Vannucci, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emily Vannucci, and siblings Norbert and June Vannucci. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. officiated by Reverend John Giel, Pastor.
