Kenneth Clifford Gillespie's Obituary
Kenneth Clifford Gillespie, 84, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2016 at Bayview Center in Eustis, Florida. Mr. Gillespie was born on May 31, 1931 in Cicero, Illinois to his parents Marvin Joseph Gillespie and Irma Lenor (Schimki) Gillespie. Mr. Gillespie was a former Pipe Fitter for Packaging Corporation of America, Filer Mill in Manistee, Michigan. He and his wife have been seasonal residents of Leesburg for over 25 years and have been permanent residents now for the last two years. He was of the Baptist faith and are members of The First Baptist Church of Manistee, Michigan. He was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Korean War. He is a member of the American Legion Post in Manistee, Michigan where he was a former Post Commander as well as being a member of the 40/8 “Voiture Tyres”. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Letha Gillespie; three sons: Marvin Gillespie, James Gillespie and Shawn Gillespie; two daughters: Cindy Jaskulski and Renee Ihlenfeldt; three sisters: Marion Fauble, Joyce Townsend and Joan Hutchin; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
